Cynthia Miller is a poet, producer & innovation strategist.

Cynthia is a Malaysian-American poet based in Edinburgh. Her debut collection Honorifics won an Eric Gregory and was shortlisted for the Forward Prize for Best First Collection. She also co-founded the award-winning Verve Poetry Festival.

Her poems appear in MIT Technology Review, The Rialto, Ambit, Poetry Birmingham Literary Journal, Butcher’s Dog, harana poetry, Under the Radar and The Best New British and Irish Poets. Her first book of poetry has been longlisted and shortlisted for several prestigious awards.

She has been commissioned by The British Council and the Poetry Society, read at international literature festivals, led a poetry course for Arvon, and been a mentor for the Scottish Book Trust’s New Writers Award. When not writing, she is a Strategy Director and innovation consultant, fascinated by gaming, web3, technology and the metaverse.
